How do I reserve a room?

We offer various options for room reservations to meet the needs of our guests. You can either book through our official website, by phone or by email or leading booking platforms such as Booking.com and Expedia. Each of these options offers an easy and convenient way to secure your room in advance to ensure your stay goes smoothly.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Our hotel accepts a variety of payment methods to offer you flexibility and convenience. In addition to cash, we gladly accept credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro and Diners Club. This variety of payment options allows our guests to choose the method that is most convenient for them.

Is parking available?

Parking facilities are an important aspect for our guests, which is why we offer a hotel-owned underground parking garage with several e-charging stations, which is available to you during your stay. The parking fee is Euro 19.00 per night. For e-vehicles we charge additional Euro 20.00 per e-charge. This gives you the security of knowing that your vehicle is safely and conveniently parked while you stay with us.

Can I check in earlier / check out later?

We understand that flexibility is important and we strive to be as accommodating as possible to our guests. Depending on availability, early check-in or late check-out is possible. Please simply contact our reception and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Is there Wifi in the hotel/rooms?

To ensure you are connected to the world at all times, we offer free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, you can easily stay online and share your experiences.

How do I get to the hotel from the airport/train station by public transport? Is there a streetcar and bus stop nearby? What is the quickest way to get to the city center?

Our location offers excellent public transport connections. The nearest streetcar and bus stop "Finanzamt" is just a few minutes' walk away. From there, you can easily reach the city center or other destinations. The streetcar ride between the stops "Finanzamt" and "Schlossbergbahn" is even free of charge, as it is part of the so-called "Altstadtbim".

Are pets allowed?

Pets are part of the family, so we are happy to welcome them to our hotel. For an extra charge of Euro 25.00 per night, you can bring your pet with you and be sure that your four-legged companion will feel just as comfortable as you do.

Is there a way to cancel my room?

In your reservation confirmation, you will find the agreed cancellation conditions. If you have any questions, our reception is available 24 hours a day by telephone or email.

Do you offer breakfast, half board or full board as part of my booking? Is room service available if I prefer to dine in my room?

The popular Augarten Art Hotel breakfast buffet is truly a reason to start the day early, which is why we recommend that you let us know your breakfast preference in order to your room booking. It's a pleasure for us to serve you the breakfast, snacks and drinks in your room for a small extra charge. We don't offer half or full board, but our reception team knows the best restaurants in the city - please contact us at any time.

Do you offer vegetarian/vegan options in your hotel? Do you have special menus for guests with intolerances or special dietary requirements?

Our kitchen offers a variety of options for guests with special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free alternatives. In addition, special menus can be arranged for guests with intolerances or special requirements. Please inform us in advance about your special dietary requirements.

Which restaurants/cafés are located near the hotel?

In the vicinity of our hotel you will find a variety of restaurants, cafés and bars that offer something for every taste. Our recommendations are the Biergartl and the Restaurant Scheucher, but our friendly staff will also be happy to provide you with further recommendations.

Do you offer concierge services?

Our staff at the reception desk are true city professionals and know the city at its best. It's a pleasure for us to help you arrange your city trip.

Are there accessible/disabled-friendly rooms?

We are happy to welcome all guests, but we are aware that guests with special needs have wishes that we can't fulfill sufficiently. Are there luggage storage options?

For your convenience, we offer luggage storage facilities. Our staff will be happy to help you store your luggage safely so that you can enjoy your stay without any worries.

Is the hotel child friendly?

We are delighted to welcome families with children to our hotel.

Do you offer cribs or extra beds for families with children?

In addition to our regular beds, we offer fold-out beds and cribs for families with children. Please ask at reception before your arrival to ensure that we can meet your needs.

Are there any child-friendly attractions or activities near the hotel?

The Augarten Art Hotel is located close to the center of Graz and is an excellent starting point for activities with children. Just a few steps away, the Augarten Park offers a variety of entertainment options and the frida & fred children's museum is also extremely popular with families. Other attractions include the Schlossberg with the clock tower, the Schlossberg- and fairytale-train, the Schlossberg slide, the Natural History Museum and the Zeughaus.

Are there special offers for families/groups?

We offer special deals for families and groups, including apartments and family rooms, to ensure you have the perfect stay with us.

What sights are located near the hotel? Can I book excursions or tours through the hotel?

There are many sights worth visiting near the hotel, including the frida & fred children's museum, the MUWA and the Schlossberg. For excursions and tours, we recommend GrazTourismus, which offers a variety of options.

Are there bike rental facilities at the hotel?

Yes, we offer bike hire so that you can explore the surrounding area on your own. Please ask for availability before your arrival or directly at reception.

Do you also offer a fitness or spa area?

The wellness area of the Augarten Art Hotel offers an indoor pool with counter-current system, a Finnish sauna and a comfortable lounging area. In summer, the inviting terrace offers comfortable lounging areas. There is also a small fitness room with modern equipment. Our reception team will inform you about regular yoga, Pilates and personal trainer events on our roof terrace.

What time is check-in an check-out?

Check-in is from 3.00 pm and check-out until 11 a.m. Please contact our reception staff for early-check-in or late-check-out availability.

Can I have breakfast at the Augarten art Hotel as a non-hotel guest?

Our breakfast buffet with selected local delicates also pampers non-hotel-guests for a fee of Euro 25.00 per person. In order to guarantee you a table, we kindly ask you to book in advance at office@augartenhotel.at or by telephone on +43 316 20800.

What are the opening hours of the reception?

Our reception team is at your disposal 24 hours a day.

Are Augarten Art Hotel vouchers available?

A relaxed breakfast with mom or a surprise for your wedding anniversary? With a voucher from the Augarten Art Hotel you can give the gift of special time. You can obtain Augarten Art Hotel vouchers on site at reception, by e-mail to office@augartenhotel.at or by telephone on +43 316 20800. Vouchers for delivery must be paid for in advance by credit card.
